TURKEY DAY TREASURES

For the first time since adding a third Thanksgiving Day game in 2006, all three games will air on over-the-air networks.

Detroit extends its Thanksgiving tradition for the 73rd time while facing Houston (CBS). Dallas will host Washington its 45th Thanksgiving installment (Fox). NBC adds a new wrinkle by adding the night game. NFL Network had aired the third game for six seasons but the new TV deal sent the marquee game to NBC. This year, NBC snagged New England at N.Y. Jets, a high-profile match-up NFL Network was unlikely to air.

Detroit has lost eight straight Thanksgiving games. Dallas and Washington meet for the seventh time on Thanksgiving. The Jets franchise has made eight Thanksgiving appearances, while the Patriots have made five. Houston is making its first.

GAME OF THE DAY

Colts (6-3) at Patriots (6-3). The NFL?s top rivalry the last 10 years features a new twist with Andrew Luck leading the Colts. Luck, the top pick in the 2012 draft has thrown for 2,631 yards, the most by a rookie through nine games in NFL history. He also has four 300-yard passing games, tied with predecessor Peyton Manning for a rookie high. Patriots QB Tom Brady owns a 9-4 record against Indianapolis with 24 TDs. Brady has thrown touchdowns in 41 consecutive games, third-longest streak in NFL history.
